Paike's Official Statement on Raisins:
While not evil, raisins are not overly enjoyable and often are too sugary for the common palate. Raisins are best when the are not present. The California Raisins is a walking childhood nightmare. Whoever thought that singing, dancing raisins were cute?!
So, I the undersigned [heretofore known as Paike], submit a formal and most humble apology, and was falsely represented as a "raisin sympathizer" or as one who particularly enjoys raisins and actively seeks to consume said dehydrated grapes.

I vaguely remember a spoof 'Dallas/Dynasty' series many years ago set in the raisin farming business in Fresno, hench it was called 'Fresno'.
All I can remember is a ranch hand character who never wore a shirt, even if dining in an expensive restaraunt in town.
Anyone else remember this, or did I imagine it? It could explain why people think raisins are evil.

A general store owner hired a young female clerk with a penchant for wearing very short skirts and thong panties to work the counter. One day a young man entered the store, eyed the clerk, and glanced at the loaves of bread behind the counter. Noticing her short skirt and the location of the raisin bread high on the shelves, he had a brilliant idea.
"I'd like some raisin bread, please," the man says politely.
The clerk nodded and climbed up a ladder to reach the raisin bread. The young man, standing almost directly beneath her, was provided with a magnificent view, just as he had hoped. Once she descended the ladder, he mused that he really should get two more loaves, as he was having company for dinner.
As the clerk retrieved the second loaf of bread, another male customer noticed what was going on. Thinking quickly as the clerk again descended to the counter, he requested his own loaf of raisin bread. With each trip up the ladder the young lady seemed to catch the eye of yet another male customer. Pretty soon each fellow in the store was successively asking for raisin bread, just to see the clerk climb up to the top shelf.
After a few trips the clerk became tired and irritated. Finding herself yet again atop the ladder, she stopped and fumed, glaring at the men standing below. She noticed an elderly man standing amongst the throng staring up at her. Thinking to save herself a trip she yelled down, "Is yours raisin too?"
"No," croaked the feeble old man. "But it's startin' to twitch."

Hey, Devil S, I like raisins!!! During SAT 9 testing last year we got raisins as our "nutritious" snack and while all the other kids were throwing them at each other and wasting them, people were giving theirs to me so I could eat them!

And another opinion of mine. Chocolate should not be abused by dipping things like raisins or nuts in it!!! Although... the thought of a chocolate pizza sounds mighty nice... as long as there weren't any nuts topping it!!! OR raisins, cause well... they're just evil...
OH... but chocolate covered pretzels.... I LOOOOOOOOVE!!!!
