Final Weekend
Well,
the final weekend leads to all kinds of odd things and many old
faces.
So, I thought I would
gather it all here, instead of spreading it all around the other
pages..
Some old faces back in the
shire!
The last day saw something really different.
They stopped the parade in front of Griffin's Costume Rental to
say good bye to Mitch, give him a cake, and wish hime well.
It was a very touching moment.
First, I finally got roped into doing peasant dances.
The Barbarians invaded the shire!
Street Brawl!
The last day saw things
finally boil over between Will Scarlet and Sir Guy of Gisbourn.
Dingy Races!
The dingy races were brought back for the
final weekend special event.
They were fun and action packed on the final weekend.
Blind Man's Bluff
One of the things the cast would do after the
peasant dancing in the afternoon, is play a little game of blind
man's bluff.
It's fun. I even played on Saturday after dancing with them.
On Sunday though, they managed to talk the Prince into joining
thme!
They managed to lead him from town square, over towards the
stocks.
Then managed to stick him in the stocks!
He was not very pleased with this turn of events.
He made several threats and kept calling for help.
Suddenly, one of his advisors came by.
The peasants thought they were in big trouble now, and were
bowing and showing great deference.
But they needent have worried, as things were about to take a
twist.
Seems the lady quite liked having the crown and scepter and was
not inclined to free the trapped prince!
The peasants loved it!
Things really took a turn towards the strange after this though.
Unfortunately I didn't get any pics of the next part.
Where Robin Hood shows up.
Berates the peasants for treating one of noble blood so badly.
He does, after all, have the same blood as the king flowing in
his veins.
Then Robin proceeded to trick the rabble and free the prince!
Talk about an interesting turn of events.
