On 12/4/04 we had the pleasure
to actually go down and check out the school!

| As you can see in the pictures, the
school is very well set up. We started out with the basic
short sword drills. Working from the 3 count through to
the 9 count. It was really different working with the
Power Target Pro (those are the punching / practice
targets you see bolted to the walls) Really gave a chance
to work on getting the right angles and striking the
correct spots. Since you had a stationary target and
didn't have to make adjustments for where someone else
was striking, it was very effective. Later we did some work on the feed and follow drill, as well as a little more dagger work. Then we played around with some other stuff. Cy and I worked a little on trying to remember one of the longsword drills from the last seminar. Roxanne and Hank started learning some staff work from Jenna. |

Of course, we managed to make plenty of time for goofing around. |

| Cy showed up late because he had to
work that day :-( No Wolfe either, guess he was busy doing something else. Jenna was a little late. Stupid SATs :-) Actually,
speaking of late, so was Master Turk! |
