This was cathartic show for me.
The 2 shows I went to earlier this year I was severly handicapped
by my breathing condition.
This one I was more-or-less healthy. I'd bought the tickets
during my illness, half-joking that I got balcony to be sure that
I could still go to it if I were still alive when it came up.
(I'm kinds twisted that way)
This is my 3rd time to this venue,
and the 2nd time I missed my turn off the highway (frown). Which
meant I came in the round-about way. Meaning I was running later
than hoped and had to park rediculously far away. A decent walk
in the cold drizzle.
On the plus side, the doors were already open so I didn't have to
stand in line much.
Turns out, I didn't have to worry about being late, as the show
started late.
It was all worth it though.
I was front row of the upper
section, straight back from the stage. So I had a great view of
the show, and got to sit comfortably in my chair with no
interuptions. No one in my row needed in or out for anything from
my side of the row.
You can see what my view was like, in the video below. That was
what I shot of the opening of the show.
It was everything I have come to
expect from an Alice Cooper show.
Good tunes, excellently played. Good stage show, with a bit of
Halloween flavor, with the pumpkins, and the band wearing
masks/costumes towards the end.
Got the Giant FrankenAlice.
Got the Guillotine
Got a bit of other theater.
Alice still brings it! As long as I can work it into my schedule/budget, I will continue to see him every chance I get.
