Here is my OOB review of a great kit I got
from Jean Louis Crinon
 Kit
comes in 4 resin pieces + hose/wire
You can see how big it actually is in the 2nd
pic. The figure is about the size of a pop can.
|
I guess we
will start off with the figure first.

If you look at the pics, you can see there
is actually quite a bit of detail on this guy.
When I first saw the pics, I thought it was pretty plain.
But once I finally got one, I discovered
all the little detail all over the piece.
|

Same for the head. While there isn't a
ton of detail, JLC still managed to give him some
character.
There just seems to be something around the eyes that
brings it to life. |

The base is nice, big, and detailed.
It's also hollow, which I think is great. No worrying
about
it sitting flat that way. You don't really need to pin
the figure, as there are already holes engineered
for the feet to sit into. |

Then you have the tool he is using, and a
length of tubing with wire inside to run from tool
to the pack on his back, and then from the pack, to his
mask. |
I am extremely pleased with this piece.
I bought it, not knowing a lot about it. I thought it
would be smaller, like the other pieces I have from him.
Turned out to be about twice the size I thought it would
be. And packed with more detail than I had hoped.
Not a lot of clean-up to worry about. There are no holes,
or voids, and only a little flash to clean up. |
