HELP !

I got this thing in a box of models.

I have no clue as to what it is.
It is made of metal, I think probably lead, as it weights 6 pounds.
8.25" long - 4.5" high - just over 2" thick (that is at the bottom, where the 'yard' comes out)

Those things on the back make me think it connects to something larger.
