I've been seeing these at TRU and finally decided to pick one up. I was shopping for kits, and didn't see anything else that caught my eye. I enjoy the TV show and had heard some good things about these, so I figured why not. These are snap together. Molded in different colors. What you see here is as it comes. No paint, no glue. Straight out of the box. Pretty good detail,nice fit. A real steal at $9.99. I had fun with this kit. I think it took me about 4 hours to put it together. I was in no rush. I just sat at the coffee table while watching TV while I assembled it. The most time consuming part was trimming the the parts. I really need to get a good pair of clippers. The gates are pretty thick, so it was hard to cut with a hobby knife. The instructions are written in Japanese, but the diagrams are pretty self explanatory. A little on the small side, so it was a little hard to read sometimes. When complete, it is fully poseable. They even transform! Really a neat toy. Also comes with stickers instead of decals. I can see why these are so popular with kids. From what I have heard, the bigger kits are even more detailed. It was fun to put a kit together in 1 day. Really give you a sense of accomplishment. Maybe I will do a little painting on the next one I try
