The Beast

The Beast, Doctor Strange, and the Scarlet Witch in a basic diorama.

This was the only straight build of the 3. The only modification to the kit was removing the tabs that originally held it in place on it's normal base. Built the sub-assemblies, cleaned the seams. Put it all together, cleaned the seams.
Primered it black. Went over it with a dark blue, leaving a little of the black showing ever so slightly to help with the shadows. Went in and highlighted the muscles and other creases with a very dark blue/black mix added to some blending gel. Worked that in where I wanted it. Let cure, then sealed. Went over with a very thin lighter blue. Then again with an even lighter blue. Each coat letting the previous paints show through. Then I went in with a fine brush and some black to really get the deepest areas darker. Painted the face and sealed.
