Here are some pics of the sculpt that Wayne posted a
while back.

This short lived kit comes in 10 pieces.

As you can see, this is a nice sized kit.

An interesting base, with some fun little details

Look at the scale detail on the body.
It's just insane. So intricate and sooo many scales.
It's almost going to be a shame to cover it with paint.
|

The head is just as nicely detailed.
Not as intricate, but for the head, I think the larger
scales are much more appropriate.
Too much going on, would clutter things up and be too
much of a good thing. |

Having the option of an opened or closed hand is a
nice touch
|

And a nice little detail to help complete the piece.
A neaderthal skull to put on the base. |
Overall, a very nice kit.
A pretty interesting pose, considering the subject.
Great anatomy and proportionss.
The scale detail just is mind blowing. Really takes the
piece to the next level.
The kit is well cast. Some micro-bubbles in the base, but
I didn't even really see them until I took a look at the
photos I shot.
So that shouldn't be a real issue. The primer and paint
will take care of the majority of them.
Only some minor clean-up to be done on the rest of the
kit.
And that is limitely to mainly be on the extremities,
like the claws and feet.
The important areas, like the intricate scale detail is
perfectly cast with no flash to be seen. |
