I entered this in the contest at WF 09.
Didn't get anything for it, but it was a fun quick build.
The object wasn't to build a contest winner but to
just have fun and finish something.
Solid cast resin.
They make for some nice fun busts to paint for around $10 each.
This one I intend to play with blues and blacks for the painting.
Black primer. Then a dusting of dark blue all around. Followed by a lighter blue from one direction.
Done!
Now I just need to come up with a base and mount it.
Well, I found a base.
Then I had a little brain fart. I started paintig it before washing or priming it.
Had to go back, scrub it down and prime it black.
After the primer. I drybrushed the skulls white, then
drybrushed the rest medium gray.
Next was a bit of a brown wash for the skulls.
Then adding a rod to mount the head to.
In this case I used a nail.
