The trip was uneventful.
The trip was so uneventful that I got there way early. There was no road construction delays. No cops to be seen, so traffic was really moving.
Thought I might have to wait for my room, I was so early (it's happened before)
But, surprisingly I was able to check in right away. Sadly, I didn't get the patio again. Could have been worse. At least I got 2nd floor, but I was on the other side of the lobby.

I remembered some of the issues I had with the new rooms last year and packed appropriately. First, I brought an alarm clock with me. So annoying not being able to see what time it is.
I almost brought a blanket with me as the ones in the hotel are really quite thin. But I just got by by pulling the blankets off one bed and putting them on the other. Thankfully, housekeeping left things that way for me all weekend too.
