SATURDAY
Got up early-ish so I could get in the shower and take
my time getting motivated. Headed down sometime after 9 just to see how
things were. The main hall was surprisingly not packed to-the-gills
like I am used to seeing.
A reasonable line for the contest room, a reasonable line for the dealers room
It was odd.
I hung around and visited with people in the hall, in the lobby, and
outside. Just after 10 I headed to Dealer B figuring I would look
around there and avoid the big crowd in the main room.
Saw some cool stuff. Said hi to Anthony and Rocko who had their tables beside each other.
Then
I headed into the main room for a first pass. I made a straight shot to
the AFM table. I knew Terry was going to have some Mike Parks stuff and
I wanted first shot at what was there.
I wasn't disappointed. After digging through the boxes he had I came up
with like a dozen of the Super Tiny Terrors that I didn't have. He had
other stuff, but I focused on what I was actively collecting.
Stopped by Model Club TV to say hi and see how they were doing. Then
worked my way to the Black Heart table to drop even more cash.
With my hands full, I decided to drop everything in my room. This is
where my room location totally shines. Quick, straight shot and never
have to step outside to get to it.
Grabbed a snack and a drink and back down to go through the dealers room some more.
So many great kits to see. Both old and new. A much better mix of traditional and prints this year.
The only thing I grabbed were the Supernatural busts from Pestilence
Labs. That was also another must buy on my list. Which is now
completely checked off. I only had 4 things I HAD to get this year.
At least before Terry posted about the Mad Lab kits.
Back to the room for a bite of lunch. Leftover from last night's visit to Hometown Pizza.

Time to head down to the contest room and see how bad it is.
It was packed but I manged to look at (and photograph) a couple or rows
of tables. I head outside for a bit of a break, then go back to the
dealers room to really look things over now.
That is how I spent the rest of the show day. Alternating between the
dealers room and the contest room. Taking some pics and stopping in the display rooms to check that out as well..
After the show shut down, I headed up to my room to relax a bit and
eat. I ordered Dominos. No pizza as I had that last night. I got chicken and tots. But I just
decompressed up there for an hour or so. I chatted with my wife a bit
on the tablet, while I ate and took some pics of my purchases, which I
then posted on the WF FB group.
Relaxed and rested, I then headed out to see what everyone was up to.
I spent some time on the patio for a while.
Then hit Naked Resin for a while. Then back to the patio and the lobby

We were out there for a while.
Because, it takes time to get a large group of half-drunk people
organize. And just when you do, another batch come running out the door
to join. Then there is all the after photo laughing, and chatting. This year there was also the toast for Robert Troch who passed way this year.
I am a little vague here, but I think I popped into the Cult-suite. I think there was a pass through the hall
and lobby, then back to my room to call it a night.
