And here are the goodies that I
got. ![]() ![]() Here is my haul from Saturday. It was a very expensive day for me. I think it was the most money I have ever spent at WF, and this was just on Saturday. First of all, grabbed 12 of the old Mad Lab Super Tiny Terrors. Terry had a bunch of them on his table, very reasonably priced. But even at $20 each, when you get a dozen, it really adds up. Next I dropped some good coin at Black Heart's table. George has announced his plan to retire soon, so time to get it or regret it. So I grabbed the 64 Godzilla wall hanger, and the Minus-One bust. Finally, I had to get the Sam & Dean busts from Pestilence Labs. |
![]() Sunday, was a light shopping day. Given how much I spent on Saturday, I was bit more reserved on Sunday. I did do a bee-line to Terry's table again to fill in some more gaps in my Super Tiny Terror collection. After looking over my website and seeing what I already bought, I knew what to look for. Found 4 more I still needed I had a few potential purchases in mind. Things I liked on Saturday but wasn't sure if I wanted to buy them or not. I figured I would let fate decide for me. If they were gone when I went to buy them, then it wasn't meant to be. And they were. For those that might be curious, one was a glow Vampirella for $60 on the Hodge Hobbies table. A couple anime 3-D prints on another table of Ichigo, and Mikasa but they were in the $140 range Enough about what I didn't buy though, here is what else I did get. I found a Resin Chef Gigan for a great price. It was totally by accident. I had seen another kaiju kit at that booth and had asked the price, but the gentleman watching the booth told me I had to come back later when the guy who owned the booth was back. Well, when I swung by later and was about to inquire about the kit I originally saw, I saw this beauty just sitting there. As soon as I heard the price I pulled my wallet out and handed over the cash. You don't find these complete, unstarted in box for $150. Towards the end of the day I did make a paint purchase from Michigan Toy Soldier. Time to try out some Pro Acryl paint. Then Dave at Nostalgic Resin was nice enough to give me a Godzilla plaque. |
