Ok.
Sorry, there won't be a lot of detail about this kit.
I built it years ago and forgot about it untl recently when I found it in my kit stash.
Originally it was built for one of the Polar Lights online contests. (that's how long ago it was)

I'm not really a hardware guy, but I love the Simpsons and wanted to show my support for PL.
Being that this was for a contest, it was also kind of rushed to meet the deadline.
Not my best piece of modeling by any stretch of the imagination, but still a fun kit, and one I am glad to have.

Couple things I do remember about he build.
I wanted to keep the plastic color for the body, as it was perfect. But the problem was the seam wher the fins meet the body. I tried using sprue shavings and liquid glue to fill them and make them invisible.
Don't know if you can see in the pics, but it wasn't all that successful.

The other thing is the chrome pieces.
They (like all chrome parts) were just way too shiney and toylike.
To fix that, I hit them with dulcote.
Which actually worked pretty good.
