AroarA
Aroara is Steve Ross.
He started out on his own in 2007.
Then in early 2008 he teamed up with Matt Manit and Randy at Li'l Monster to form Primeval Plastics.
That lasted until the end of 2013 when he again went off on his own under the current name.

He has recently teamed up with Mark from Prehistorix to do his casting for him, and Bill does a lot of his illustrations.

Will be retiring and stepping back from add-ons on June 30th 2022

Steve started out on his own, and was kind of responsible for the whole add-on phenomenom.
While Lunar Model, and then Alchemy Works had the Stegosaurus, it wasn't really an add-on. It was just a close approximation of an actual kit that Aurora was working on.
And Action Hobbies had the Parasaurolophus in 2005, but that was just a kit based on Dave Cockrum's designs for Aurora.
Steve had the idea to add all new kits to the line. Starting with the Protoceratops in 2007. He had Mike Evans mold and cast for him on that first run. That gave Mike the idea to get in on the fun. Mike already did a bunch of prehistoric kits so it was a natural for him.
But it was Steve's love for the line that lead him to want more.
And it is one of the reasons that I still think his kits are the closest to being true
Aurora Prehistoric Scenes.
From the multiple poses that can be attained. To the almost cartoonish characteristics that let them fit right in. Not to mention the colors used to cast them in, and the map and instruction sheets that have been there since his first kit.
