Want to know what the Steg looks like

For those of you who don't have one of these, and are suffering a bit of sticker shock at the price for one. Look over this page and read a bit of my reviews and see what you think then.

First of all, the kit itself is 26 pieces!
The base is another 8 parts.
So, not only is it a whole lot of resin (see pics at the bottom to get an idea of the actual size) but it is a bunch of well cast pieces.

This is one of the most well designed and engineered resin kits I have ever seen.
The way the parts are keyed, they line up perfectly. And they are made so they only line up exactly how they are supposed to go. So that takes a lot of the guess work out of the problem.
Even the tail spikes. Each one has a different shaped key.
So you know exactly which one is supposed to go where.
The way the keys are made for the legs and head, will make it very easly to pin.
No guessing where to put the pins.

To an extent, this even goes for the back plates. Each one is a different length, so it isn't very hard to tell which ones go in which slots in the back.

The new base is very nice. Cleanly cast. 3 tight fitting pieces for the base itself along with 4 accessory pieces to put where you want.

And of course the cute little baby steg that can be a companion piece for the big one.

And for those who keep emailing and asking where this goes with the rest of them.
Here are a couple examples of where it will fit.

In front of, or behind the Spiked & 3 Horned dinosaurs.
Which also means it can go in front of or behind the Parasaurolophus as well.

I am working on a drawing of the base
so I can provide examples of where it can go on the map.

Here is what the unbuilt kit looks like.

And here are a bunch of my partially built model
(which I no longer have. I sold it to get the money to buy this new release.
