This was and is my favorite model in the series. The scene is so real and lifelike. I finally broke down and spent the money to get one of these. It's already built-up and painted. The paint job isn't bad, but the assembly leaves something to be desired. I think I am going to use this model for a series on how to restore models. I'll get some pictures of the model as I got it. Then in progress pictures and descriptions of how it was dis-assembled, stripped, and rebuilt.
This always seems to be at the top of everyones favorite PS kit list. What's not to like about it? You get a really nice mini-diorama with the rhino sinking in the tar and the vulture sitting in the tree having a snack. Another thing that probably helps is that this one is pretty central to putting them all together in the big overall scheme.
This is one of the two kits that don't have any moveable parts. The other one being the Jungle Swamp.
