Dave
Cockrum design sketches for the
rex kit.
These came up for auction on ebay
back in September of 2013.

Tyrannosaurs
Rex - sold for $1800.00
This piece is an original, ink
over pencils with some white-out
applied as correction, drawn by
Cockrum and is signed in black
ink in the upper right corner
"Cockrum '73".
Artwork
is done on light cardstock and is
approx. 13-7/8" High x
21-7/8" Wide. Sheet is being
sold as pictured, has not been
mounted or displayed and luckily,
was stored away from light since
the '70's, so the black ink is
not faded. There are some pencil
notes on bottom of sheet.
Artwork
has some light toning and
spotting, it has not been cleaned
nor will be attempted, left up to
new owner if they desire to do
so. Corners have some light
creasing, but have been flattened
out over time from being stored
flat.

Stegosaurus
- listed for $400.00 but best
offer was accepted
Black and White stats had varied
uses from making color guides
which were hand colored to show
representation of the finished
product prior to printing and or
litho process, to give close-up
to the sculptor in creating the
molds for the finished product.
These were printed directly from
the original artwork. This
positive print sheet, printed on
gloss stock, is approx. 14"
High x 25-1/4" Wide. Sheet
is in overall nice in some light
signs of handling on edges and
corners along edge wrinkles and
small splits on edges. There is
also some toning on edges and
some spotting. This stat has been
stored away flat, luckily away
from light since 1974 so the
image is dark and not faded.
