  Primed. Zenithal highlight with white ink mixed with white craft paint. Masked off and shot the neck with some yellow speedpaint. Then sealed. Next up is to mask that off and shoot the body with some orange. |

  Got the teeth put in and puttied and mouth painted. Then I blocked in the eyes. |

  Used pencil to work out the placement of the eyes. Then got the colors blocked in. |

new    The eyes are looking pretty good. Still a little more work to go.   Did some pastel work to accentuate some of the details. |

   Next, I had to put my carpentry skills (and my scrap wood crates) to use to build a base for Smaug to sit on.   All that is left, is to install the tongue. |
