Not sure how many parts as I bought the assembled display kit at WF 2021

War of the Gargantuas

Left - primed in red/brown

Right - basecoated.
No where near the finished colors, but should
be a good base to work up from.

Ok. The last time I updated this page was 2022 :o
It's now Sept 2025. Looks like I did that basecoating on the green guy last year.
Then I kind of hit a wall and had no idea where I wanted to go next. That is until now. I got the idea to give the brown one a bit of flesh in the recesses. Then a heavy drybrush of a darker brown.
From there I basecoated the tree. I have a couple ideas where I want to go next but I am concentrating on finishing a couple other pieces.

Hope to get back to this in October.

A couple layers of drybrishing, then a nice sepia wash to really bring the details out.

Well, this has been sitting since early October and finally at the end of April I got an idea where I wanted to go with it all.
This is the start of that journey.
War of the Gargantuas
I blackened the eye area, and started putting some of the details
like eyes and teeth in.
War of the Gargantuas
Been a while since I have shown the base.
Been working on picking out some details and making it look natural.

Same as the brown one.
