NE GEEK EXPO 2014

Every year there is a local convention.
It isn't very big, but it keeps growing every year.
This year they had to move it. Outgrew the county fair facility
and had to go to the SPIRE
Institute. Attendance topped 1000 people.
I had to split time there this year as
I had another engagement in the middle of the day. Went early
with my wife. Had fun checking out the venue, visiting with
friends, and checking things out while my wife shopped. When I
returned later I tried to do some shopping, but the things I
thought about grabbing earlier were already gone. Guess that is a
good sign. Afterwards, had tons of fun at dinner with several
friends at a
local restaurant.
