THE DISNEY PAGE

These pages are about a couple of lines of kit that I loved as a kid and would love to do now. They are the  Disney "PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN" and "HAUNTED MANSION" kits made by  MPC.     These were the ones that used rubberbands to make the models move. MPC called it ZAP ACTION I remember my favorite was "Escape from the Crypt"  It had an executioner type guy that is using a shovel to try to break the chains off another guy. When you push a button on the executioners back, his arms came down, the shovel hits the chains, which causes a skeleton to pop up out of the casket that the other guy is sitting on..      I could have soooooo much fun with these kits now. Especially now that I'm older and a little more experienced, so I could paint them a heck of a lot better than I did as a kid.. I think AMT/ERTLE has the molds now. I have sent them several emails asking if they still have the molds, and if so, any chance of a reissue. This has also come up several times at the Polar Lights BB. .      If you have any kits or parts that you are willing to part with. Let me know.
