Buffy Model kit - BTVS

Finally got my hands on one of these. It's already been started, but I don't care.

A quick bath in some purple power, and he is ready to go.

Primered it white, then masked it off with some silly putty.

Here is the base-coat on the body.
Originally, I was going to go with a purple suit. That was my first though.
Don't know why, but I just thought he wore a purple suit.
But then when I started searching for reference pics I found lots of colors.
And I really liked this color scheme.

And as you can see I already had a can of yellow that was really close.
I just thought I can really make the colors pop on this and make it something eyecatching.

Not exactly the green I wanted but it will work for a base coat.
It's just a bit too green. The shade I have that I wanted to use, just didn't want to work.
For some reason it had no 'bite'. I just kind of pushed around on the surface and never grabbed it.
Hopefully, after I do the spots and such, I will be able to use it as a sort of glaze over it all to tie it all
together, and tone things down.

Got the spots done. A little sloppy, but I think a lot of it will be hidden when the glaze goes over it anyway.
