Workbench

Here is how I made my modeling workbench
This is going to be much shorter and less
descriptive than the page for my paint shelf.
It's just basic carpentry without any bells &
whistles.

The bottom of the countertop |

This is what it looked like when it was still on the
island in the kitchen. |

|
Got the 4 legs ready to go.
As you can see each leg is made up of 2 2x4s screwed
together. This should give it plenty of strength. |

|
Working on the crossbracing of the
legs.
Have to go to the lumber yard tomorrow to get more
lumber. I ran out.
Still deciding how I am going to mount them to the top. |

|
Crossbracing is done.
Legs are mounted to the top. I had a few angle brackets
and I toenailed some screws in too.
Casters are secured.. |

|
And, it's done.
Wasn't as bad to flip over as I thought it might be. |
