WONDERFEST 2025
FRIDAY
I got to sleep in nice and late and really catch up on
my sleep.
Ate a bit, then wandered around seeing who was out and about,
and how the classes were going.
I didn't take my camera, or take any pics.

I just wandered and visited until about noon. Then I met up with my daughter and Michael and we went off to some Bourbon Tasting |
| We
finished up the tastings we went back to the hotel to relax. I went and
got my admission and contest entries paid for, then got my entries and
got them entered. This year they opened up the contest entries on
Friday to take the pressure off as getting them all in on Saturday has
become something of an ordeal with extremely long lines and waits. The
new system is amazing. I think it was maybe 20 minutes from the time I
got in line, to the time I was out of the room and dropping my stuff in
my room. If I had waited until later, there was no line at all. After that, it was a bunch of hanging out and visiting until we ran to Hometown Pizza for diner. Then more hanging out and drinking until the early hours of the morning. |
| It
was odd not having the Iwata meet and greet. The show had some kind of
thing going on at the pool, but it was hot and humid around the pool,
and I had no interest in that. It was really nice not having to think about getting up early to get my entries in before the line got too long on Saturday. |
