Well, I dug this one
back out. I started it well over 10 years ago, and just
kind of lost interest in it.

  Well, I glued the arms on, and puttied things up. But after another coat of primer, I see lots of seem work that still needs done.   Where the leg halves meet on the top of the legs, as well as where the legs join the body. The neck.   Where the arm halves come together, and where the tail joins the body.  Still, not too much work. Should go quick. |
    Well, the bulk of the putty work is done now.     Of course, the farther I get, the more I see that I need to work on. The tail seam still bothers me. Now I can see a bit of the seam right down the back. And that right hip still needs some work. |

  Got the kit masked off with some silly putty and ready for paint. |
     Found a nice blue spray paint for this baby. Originally I was thinking a bright blue (like a kid's toy) with black patterning. After I saw this color I changed my mind. Now I am thinking a dark brown paterning. The kit won't be quite as bright as I originally envisioned, but I think this will be a bit more realistic looking. And I think leaving the underbelly the primer gray is a nice compliment to this shade of blue. |
