WONDERFEST 2022
Ok, here is my tale of WF2022 from my own
perspective.
For those who do not know, that is me on the right and
my daughter on the left.
THURSDAY
The trip was uneventful. I drove solo the whole way as Britny had to work and was driving in after work.
The trip was so uneventful that I got there way early. There was no
road construction delays. No cops to be seen, so traffic was really
moving.
Thought I might have to wait for my room, I was so early (it's happened before)
But, surprisingly I was able to check in right away. Sadly, I didn't
get my usual room. Even more frustrating, I didn't even get anything on
the same floor. This meant we would have to use the elevator all
weekend. [grrrrrr]
Ran into friends while checking in, saw familiar faces while unloading
the car. So, after resting a bit after hauling everything to the room, I wandered around to visit with people.
Kept
waiting for Britny to show up, so we could grab a bite to eat.
But she didn't get in until sometime around 9, by then it was too late
to go anywhere.
Spent most of my time hanging out with the Tag-Team guys, The Canadian Embassy, and several others.
I called it an early night at midnight. Leaving Brit at the Embassy.
I had to be up kind of early for the painting class in the morning, and I wanted at least one good night's sleep at the hotel.
