microcassette recorder with internal mic. Notes - A little better than my first recording, but still not good. Not as overloaded by the volume as I was much farther away from the stacks. But also got a lot of echo off the ceiling and walls. I did learn something though. Since I had forgottne my mic in the car, I had to go with the internal mic on the recorder. So basically I was holding it in my hand all night. About half way through Korn, I got tired of that and stuck it in my jacket pocket. The sound actually got better doing that. I think the layer of material muffled enough of the sound to keep from overloading the mic. Check the difference between the 1st and 2nd samples of the Korn set to see what I mean. Concert Review |
